Hi there, how's it going? My name is Thurston. I'm a 27-year-old, college graduate from the University of Wisconsin -- Stout, in Menomonie,Wisconsin. My degree is in Studio art with a concentration in drawing. I'm 6'4'' brown hair, blue eyes, and weigh about 185. I'm hard working, reliable, trusting, honest and easy going. I have a wide range of hobbies and interests including: travel, snowboarding, golf,classic cars, daily hour-long runs, movies, and going to hear music when I can to name a few. Hear to teach and this is how the first two days went-
Got ready, and headed to work for my first day. Work is about a half hour walk, right down the nearest main drag, which has every shopping you'd ever want. Got to work early, and first thing I heard was "we've got a problem." Apparently, the director was surprised that I am not right handed, and did not think my handwriting was good enough for the school or the kids. So I am released from that job, and was sent out to meet the recruiter Jennifer at her office to talk. This was at 3:30, and if they were like at home, would be out by 5. The subway station was about a mile north of me on the main drag, and had no idea how or where the bus station was to get to the subway. At 5, I emailed Jennifer and said that I was not going to make it today, and also needed tonight to re-group from the surprise of being released, and try again tomorrow when I am fresh, and have looked at a map to get an idea where I am in the second biggest city in the world.
After the surprise yesterday, it was a smart move to call it a day at 5:00. I put on the movie "Up in the Air" since that seamed like an appropriate choice for where things stand right now. After what I went thought to get to Jennifer's office today, their was no way I would have made it their by 6:30 last night, not even close. I started at 9am, and on the way to the train station, and saw something that really made my day, even before stopping every inch for directions. It was a tool shop that had supersized wrenches as the handles that would make every tool-man or tool-woman smile, being a tool shop. I made it to the train station, and found the right stop, and got off. I went into this bank that had a café, and got talking with another American who had been here a month. Talked to him for 45 minutes, and got his card. He said to email him if the teaching job doe not pan out. After much "circling" I made it to Jennifer's office about 12:30, 3 ½ hours after I had left my neighbor-hood. The ride back was a half hour, and decided to go to city hall. Got back to my room about 5:00, out for 8 hours worth.
Jennifer was away at lunch when I finally made it there, and I talked to the other headhunter that was there. He said if they can't find anything, I should just pack up and turn home. They will do some looking in a rural part or Korea. The city is about 300,000 people, about the same as St. Paul. When he said rural, I was thinking of teaching at some hut out in the bush. The guy said that the school wants the money back for the flight, right around $800, and $20/day for my apartment. He also took a picture of me so there is no mix-up. He thought my writing sample was good. He said that they did have a similar incident with someone who got here and had eye issues, and had to turn home. The other choice is to email the guy I met today to see if he could help. The thing is, my visa is for teaching, and if you are caught with another job, you are literally sent home, never to come back to Korea, ever. To get a new visa could take 2-3 weeks, and have to go through the same routine that it took to get the teaching visa approved.

To be perfectly honest, I can't say that I am looking for something serious. These days, I want something but not something serious. I dunno, I thought I would try my luck out here and give it shot.
About me? Well...I could say whatever I want but we all know talk is cheap. I guess you would have to actually meet me in person to see how I really am. However, I can give a bit of info. I'm near 180cm, great kisser and a giver (which means, I'm not happy unless you are). These aren't bragging rights; this is what I've been told.
What do I like? I like a woman who knows what she wants. Besides that I'm not picky. Looks aren't that much of a factor. Just be clean and available. I can host or travel. It doesn't matter if you are Korean or foreigner.
