Anyone up for summer time fun? (north central ark) 35yr

Seriously, you guys are as bad as men. You need to be more careful. Not very many of the sickos are looking to abduct, rape, and murder men. I know it happens, but men are much less at risk than women. I know we are all desperate to some degree, else we wouldn't be skulking around Craigslist, but just because you think a guy is good looking is no reason to loose your head and start making bad choices. Are you "The One?" (North of Little Rock) 99yr

Why is this so tough? I mean I am not looking for 50 but one, as a matter of fact "The One!" You know the same thing everyone seeks I guess. What I have found on here, other sites and in the real world, nothing is really different. It pretty much is all vain, shallow and superficial. I guess some degree I am too. I have things that I find appealing and attractive. Who doesn't? But "The One" I seek is truly unique. She stands out. She is not perfect but I love her imperfections. I am looking for that kind of feeling of complete euphoria when she is near. I am not going to settle for less. That is what I believe in and that is what I want. Someone to hold, to comfort, to be my lover, to be my best friend and to be my everything. And in return? I am that to her as well and more.

I guess I am idealistic in regards to attraction, passion, romance and love. I didn't put my age, well because I don't have a particular age that I seek with a minor exception, which I will explain below. Who knows what are soulmate looks like or what they do or how they act. Anyone that tries to pair a particular set of ideals or mindset to romance could be missing out on "The One!"

Some particulars ...
Me: I have never been married nor do I have any children. I have been extremely unlucky in finding "The One!" But I don't hate all women, nor do I blame all for the problems of others. Each person is different. So if you are man hating or have issues with an ex, well, probably stop reading. Children, and here is where the age thing comes to play (I will say that I am between the ages of 18 to 45), I don't care if you have any. I was raised by single mother. I know the daily problems you face but I am not looking to be anyone's dad. I am not looking to take the place of any child's father, but I can be a friend and good role model. I would like to have children of my own some day, I truly would. That is something I have always wanted. It's not a deal breaker but close. I don't want to have to rush to have children. I would like to get to know each and be at point where "The One!" and I had children, they would not want or need anything. If things can't work out with "The One!" where we couldn't have any, that's fine too, as long as we had each other.

Physically: First of all, I am not Brad Pitt nor Ryan Reynolds, they don't need the internet, so if you are expecting your "The One!" to look like that, well I am afraid you are going to be disappointed. I am above 6 foot tall. I am not fat. I don't have six-pack abs or the body of a muscle builder but I am not overweight and do take care of myself. I am not the first guy you are going to pick out of a line-up for looks, but I am not going to be the last either. I do understand the physical attraction. I really do. My brown eyes are not expecting Angeline Jolie or Megan Fox, I know they don't need the internet, but by the same token, I am not going to settle either. I do find many women beautiful and personality matters most but I am not attracted to women that are overweight. Please I know the mental aspect may be there, but the physical one has to be as well. It is a two-way street, I know. I can't expect one thing and be hypocritical about another just the truth. All people need love, but "The One!" is everything in my eyes. She is all I want and desire.

Sex: Ok, it is important. Anyone that tells you it is not important aspect of any relationship is fooling themselves. I am a man. If you studied biology, you know the basic chemistry. Any man that tells he doesn't think about sex, well he is lying to try to get into your pants. "The One!" well she embraces her sexuality and thrives on it. She can be into other women or find that totally repulsive. It doesn't matter. She is "The One!" She enjoys everything about sex and doesn't see it as requirement but rather a connection between two souls. She enjoys the cuddling, the pillow talk and the little things. She wants to please and expects to be pleased in return.

Lifestyle: Truthfully mine is not reached it's peak yet. I am in a transition phase that will put me over the top. I am not a deadbeat nor a loser. I am who I am, educated and passionate. The past happened, the future has not been written. If you seek a new car or fancy jewelery from your "The One!" then you are not seeking your one, but something else. My "The One!" will get everything I have and then some, and hopefully everything she wants and more.

Beliefs: Mine are what they are. Yours are what they are. Life has taught and brought to those. I don't really care if there is an agreement. I not trying to change yours. Hey everyone, my name is Mathew. I spent the first 21 years of my life in New Orleans where I was born and raised in a small suburb called Destrehan. I moved up to Arkansas almost two years ago to pursue my career in meteorology. I went to the University of Louisiana at Monroe and got my bachelors degree in atmospheric sciences. I presently work at the National Weather Service in Little Rock and I enjoy the work that I do knowing that I help people and may even be able to save someones life one day.

I love the outdoors and I find several days a week to climb pinnacle and enjoy the outdoors. I have been playing tennis since I was 8 years old and I enjoy it very much although I rarely find the time (or people) to play. I like to relax in my apartment with my two dogs and watch tv and play video games.

Over the past month or so, I have picked up tennis and I am competeing in tournaments and playing in a league. I'm a 4.0 tennis player and if you play tennis, that would be amazing!

No games, no drama, no BS. All real and very unique! (Central Arkansas) 27yr

I'm stable and responsible, college educated and settled into a career I've been a part of for the past 10+ years. I earn a good living, I have my own house, my car is paid for - I'm pretty pleased with where I am in life.

I'm a full time single dad. One thing I've learned over the past few years is that women don't seem to like that very much. If you don't, that's fine. I accepted responsibility of raising my daughter because I wanted to, not because I had to, and I have no regrets. Being a dad is one of the most fulfilling things I've ever done in life and I wouldn't change a thing. I'm not looking for a mother for my child, she has one - though she lives out of state. We don't have any drama or issues between us, so nothing to worry about there.

I'm very outgoing - I have a fun personality, I'm always smiling and cracking jokes, though I do know when to be serious. It's all about balance. I'm a big sarcastic and a huge smartass. If you can't handle that type of personality you might find me annoying. But I'm okay with who I am, I like my personality.

I'm the athletic type of guy, I swim and bike on a regular basis, I take care of myself and think that's very important in a companion as well. I'm thin, and I'd prefer women who are thin or athletic as well. I know that statement will get me a few hate mails from bigger girls, but so be it. I can't change what I'm into, and I don't feel I should have to sacrifice what I want.

I'm into all kinds of music but currently in my iPod playlist are Dave Matthews Band (of course), Talking Heads, The Fratellis, The Bravery, Ben Folds, Bob Schneider, Dropkick Murpheys, Flogging Molly, Gogol Bordello, Jonathan Coulton, Michael Buble, Oasis, Rage Against The Machine, Rush, Social Distortion, The Ramones, Soul Asylum, Soundgarden, Weezer, Tenacious D and more.

I'm a hopeless romantic and definitely old fashioned. I'm the type who thinks the little things matter the most and will do whatever I can to make sure the girl I'm with is smiling. My grandparents were very much in love, and I want the kind of love they had. I used to catch them holding hands wherever we would go, and it was really sweet to see the kind of love that lasts a lifetime.
