Waitin' On A Woman! (Phoenix Area) 23yr

I recently read an article that stated nearly two thirds of college aged adults have no interest in marriage. I find that astonishing and somewhat scary. Personally I disagree with that, I want that life regardless how "old fashioned". I want a wife, kids, a house, 2 cars, and pets. That is my personal "American Dream". I dislike how people my age have become fond of that no strings attached, friends with benefits, and the "hook up and see you later" attitude. Where is the meaning? Where is the care? Is love becoming a dream? Is love becoming an endangered species? God I hope not! I cannot become what modern views are on love, marriage, and romance. To me, romance for nothing means nothing.

I want a lot out of life. More than anything I want to be a husband and father. I want to meet, fall in love, and spend forever with the woman of my dreams. I want to have children and be a father, I truly believe I would be an amazing father. Am I wrong for having these goals? Am I and my desires for life outdated?

Don't get me wrong, I am not in any hurry to fulfill that dream. I am not going to ask the next woman I see to marry me. I want that out of life the most, but when I and my partner are ready.

Lets get into a little about me:

-I am 23 years old. I am independent. I own my own car and bought my own house when I was 20. I work full time and attend school full time. I was born and raised here in Arizona. I am very close to my family, family means a lot to me. I am not like the average 23 year old man. I do not enjoy the club, bar, or party scene, just not my atmosphere. I have no intention or desire to sleep with every woman in the world. I am honestly I goody-goody.
