Great Guy... But lonely (Eureka) 43yr
Everyone who knows me says I am a great guy, good looking and intelligent. One problem though... Women no longer approach me, not since I lost my sight... Not sure why that is... I am still the great guy women used to come up too... the only difference is I have a long white cane with a red end... Does lack of vision turn women off? Summer fun (McK-ville) 27yr
To preface; I've ventured onto craigslist in the past; had a few bad dates, and called it good. Now that I find myself in the working world (i.e. no longer in school), one could describe it as "difficult" to meet people whom one might connect with, be it similar interests, education, etc. So after a couple cocktails (i.e. liquid inspiration), I find myself putting this up.
Where to begin...ME: I'm 5'11", I have long hair and I'm physically fit thanks to my job and entertaining pursuits. I'm much the outdoorsy type; I love to fish, free dive, hunt mushrooms, play at the beach or the river or pretty much anywhere else I can find water. I work as a fish biologist and I build custom fishing rods on the side, but more or less as a hobby. I love cooking in general, but I've really been on a sushi kick as of late, (I really dig the "art/deliciousness" aspect of it). I listen to music that is older than I am (preferably on vinyl), and I enjoy engaging conversation with good company, but I'm not above curling up on the couch with a pretty lady and a good movie.
Long and short, I certainly wouldn't mind connecting with a new face to share some fun times and perhaps someone to fling a little romance at; where it goes from there, let the dice roll as they may.

Portland has it's good things 38yr
.. but the city for me has lost its allure, at least for now, and it feels like it might be time to return to Humboldt or Southern Oregon where I used to live. I have a nice house and a life here in Portland, and I like the idea of keeping some roots here. Of course a day in the City has its place also..

I'll just start. I don't have much baggage related to emotional distress, my stalker seems to have given up, I eat oatmeal, stand on my toes instead of getting a chair for a better look, and wonder what determines perpendicular vs. diagonal spaces in a parking lot. I have a container of bacon salt in my cupboard, eagerly await summer even though I love winter and I see things with more logic as it always seems to rise to the surface in the end. All I know is that simple with no divine plan is best. Go with the flow and who knows what you might find right? What I do know is that the sun will come out and I will run but not to say I ran to catch something but I want to run to find more sun and of course as I chase Friday every Monday! Having fun should never be complicated yet so many find it so easy to do just that. If you are unique in a an every snow flake is different sort way and crazy in a good way but not in the whoa holy what the? way then we have something.
