Need A Place To Go (Lakeland/Tampa/Orlando) 45yr

I cant believe I am doing this but here we go.

I am a 45 year old male. Women tell me i am attractive so i guess I'm not the ugly duckling. I do have pics but I dont want to post them on here.

I started a business a few months ago and while it is progressing nicely and i am on the verge of a major breakthrough, things are going very slowly, way slower than I want, and it's not generating any revenue yet. I have no money coming in right now and i highly doubt anyone will even answer this but i figure it is worth a try. Nothing ever gets done without an attempt.

I am educated with 2 degrees and am more than willing to help out in any way i can.

I don't limit myself to women that are "unwanted" disabled or handicapped. I indicate in the title of my post that I am OK with such women because I am willing to consider and accept anyone really. I am open minded and think outside the box so I am not limited or resigned to any particular type of woman. I have received all sorts of unusual responses from people when posting this in the past. Some of the response have been that I must be horribly desperate or horribly lonely. The fact that I am willing to accept a woman with limitations or physical characteristics that others reject does not mean that I am desperate, it means that I am not superficial when it comes to physical characteristics and I am willing to accommodate someone else's limitations. I am alone but not lonely. I have plenty of friends. Another response is that I am amazingly honest. Why not be honest? Surely the truth comes out eventually anyway. Read my post, part of it or all of it if you like. Yes there is a lot of information here! I put plenty of bad and plenty of good in my open and honest approach to describing myself. It's all there so you don't have to exchange 20 emails to finally find out if we are good for each other or bad for each other. I have tried a shorter post and the first thing women say when they respond is "I'd like to know more about you."

I am partially disabled although no one I meet would ever know unless I told them. I have a chronic illness that complicates my life some but cannot be passed to another person. I have fibromyalgia and or chronic fatigue syndrome. If you are unfamiliar with these illnesses please understand that you cannot believe everything you hear or read on the internet or see on TV commercials selling Lyrica. My illness presents a challenge in part because I am sensitive or allergic to a variety of chemicals including perfumes, air fresheners, auto exhaust, pesticides, gasoline vapors, hand sanitizers, cleaning agents, cigarette smoke, oven cleaner, lysol, roofing tar, fresh asphalt coverings on roads and driveways, paint, nail polish, etc, etc. I don't die or need to be rushed to the hospital when I am exposed to these things but they have an adverse effect upon me. Many women find it impossible to imagine life without these things. I once kissed a lady on a first date and her lip gloss burned my lips.

The illness I have causes pain, fatigue, allergy, chemical sensitivity, etc. I have improved over the years but some days I have an entire day of fatigue and don't accomplish much. I don't have too much problem with pain and even if I did you would not hear me complain or whine about it. If I don't feel well I become withdrawn and quiet rather than lashing out in anger at others. The worse I feel the more withdrawn and quiet I become. I don't dwell on the illness, I don't talk about it unless I am explaining why I am behind schedule for example. I am generally a happy, optimistic person. I like to joke around and make others laugh.

There is more to my post but this is important... Please help me sort your mail from the loads of spam and responses from prostitutes that I will receive as a result of posting on Craigslist by placing the words "OK to be different" in the subject line of your reply. Please do tell me about yourself and particularly something relevant to my post so I know you are real rather than a computer generated response to my post. Please don't send any one-liner replies because that is what the spammers and prostitutes do and so I will automatically delete one line responses. Please don't be offended but if you respond I will immediately ask you to confirm that you are not a prostitute or looking for someone just because you want them to help pay your bills. I am sorry I have to do that but when I tried posting before I found that prostitutes senselessly wasted their time and mine by responding to my post.

They say there is someone for everyone, beautiful for handsome, unattractive for unattractive, etc, etc. There must be a woman out there for me regardless of how unappealing I might be for the women I have already encountered. I don't approach a lot of women or have a lot of opportunities. I have tried various dating websites. I am not ugly. I think many women don't want me when they see me because I am slender or skinny. A lot of women are done with me as soon as I send them my photo. Other women tell me they are completely confused that previous women have done that because I "look average." I have tried for years to meet a lady through craigslist and finally I did find one that I dated for 3 months. Craigslist is convenient for me because I can provide all my information and if you like you reply and if you don't then we have not wasted our time. I don't hang out in bars, I don't drink. Where will I meet a lady? I have been alone for many years. I was once married and got divorced in 1996. I have been single ever since. I can see that I might easily spend the rest of my life alone. This is unacceptable for me. I am not depressed or desperate, I am determined to find a lady rather than spend the rest of my life alone.

I am college educated. I am Caucasian. I was born in the US. I speak more than one language. I don't collect Social Security Disability, Medicare or Medicaid nor do I collect food stamps or an EBT card. I am kind, patient, compassionate, laid back, easy going, unassuming, open minded, loving. I am financially independent, I don't need money from a woman or anyone else. I don't drink alcohol, I don't smoke anything, I don't use illegal drugs, the only other drugs I have used over the last 15 years have been antibiotics. I don't have HIV or hepatitis. I have been tested and have the paperwork to prove this. I would be very happy to get tested again to prove that I do not have these illnesses. I have never been arrested, I have never been in jail, I do not have any criminal background. I do not have any mental illness. I do have good qualities and would be happy to share more about myself in another communication.

I am not superficial about physical features or unwilling to adjust my life to accommodate a woman that is somehow disabled or challenged. I would be willing to accept a woman that many other men might reject. A list of woman that I would likely accept include women that are unattractive, overweight, anorexic, have an unusual shape, are exceptionally tall, are exceptionally short, have hair where other women do not, are a burn survivor, scarred, disfigured, disabled, crippled, stroke survivor, chronically ill, missing an arm(s), missing a leg(s), missing a breast(s), use a walker or wheelchair or somehow "different" than other women I don't mind if you she is older or younger than I am. A few weeks ago I approached a woman that was missing one ear, part of her jawbone, half of her other ear and was partially deaf. Even without the missing parts she was an unattractive woman in many ways although the fact that she was unattractive was not important to me. I had a pleasant conversation with her for 10 minutes before I introduced the idea that we would have a friendship. Her demeanor changed entirely and she sent me away. I think she was shocked at the idea that someone as average looking as I am would propose such a thing. If you know of or are a woman that is single and might be experiencing the same feelings as I am then please make contact with me.

While I am financially independent many of the women I encounter are not. Sorry but I am not able to improve another persons lifestyle or financial trouble by giving them my money. I am looking for a woman that is financially independent. It seems that all the women I meet or encounter are superficial when it comes to a partner's physical features, are financially needy or somehow not compatible with my illness. Are there any women that are not superficial, not dependent upon men for money and capable of compromise? I want to emphasize that if you are looking for a man because you want the relationship to improve your lifestyle financially then you should move on to the next post. I want only a woman that is happy with and accepting of whatever financial standing she has and wants a man for love - not his wallet and not in addition to his wallet.

I like science, nature, the beach, the ocean, trees, parks with trees and water, beaches with shade, I don't like to cook in the sun or slather sun screen on my body. I like being outdoors in the shade or in the evening or on a cloudy day. I like the beach at night or in the evening. I can prepare healthy, tasty meals. I like experimenting with new foods. I like studying other cultures. If I travel I often like to get off the path of tourists and experience the culture of the place I am visiting.

I am not crippled, I walk 2 or 3 miles a day. My friends are convinced there is nothing wrong with me because they cannot keep up with me when we walk. I also like to swim if I have access to water and rollerblade. If I watch TV I like some nature or science programs, history, storm stories, national geographic and movies. I like foreign films, action, comedy, mystery. On the computer I like reading the news, staying in touch with or exchanging stupid jokes with friends and occasionally watching videos.

I don't practice any religion and don't plan on starting. I don't have any objection to being with a woman that practices a religion but I have found that they often object to my non religious choice. I will not associate with someone that uses drugs illegally. I cannot be in the same room where cigarettes have been or are smoked. I can't say that I find it appealing to kiss someone that tastes like an ashtray. A smoker is probably not a good match for me. Someone that uses alcohol to the extent that they are compromising their health or safety is not a good match for me either. I do not want to take the risk associated with someone that has HIV or hepatitis. Being less handicapped, disabled or less than desirable does not automatically make two people compatible so let's exchange information about ourselves.

Do you have cold sores or fever blisters? If you do then in actuality you have herpes. Cold sores and fever blisters are socially acceptable names for herpes. Many people have herpes and do not know it. I have had herpes for about 25 years. Contrary to the false claims made by pharmaceutical companies eager to instill fear in the public and sell medication for herpes, the virus cannot be passed from one person to another unless an active lesion is present. I have had unprotected sex for many years without passing the virus to another person. It is possible to prevent the spread and have a relationship with a carrier if you do not already have herpes.

More on the subject of sexually transmitted diseases and an open discussion here... As I said I have the paperwork to prove that I have been tested for and do not have HIV, AIDS, hepatitis, syphilis, gonorrhea or chlamydia. I am well aware that these diseases are circulating. I have enough problems in life without adding something like HIV or these other sexually transmitted diseases. Of course everyone believes that they are safe and only other people have such diseases. I am happy to get tested again once I enter into a relationship that seems like love-making is likely to take place. In my determination to stay disease free I expect any woman I am involved with to get tested as well. I won't take any excuses about how safe your practices have been or how isolated you have been, etc, etc, etc. Recently a lady answered my post that also had herpes. Much to my surprise she told me that she required her husband to use condoms during their 30 years of marriage and she would require the same of me. If I am in a monogamous relationship with a woman that is not capable of becoming pregnant I don't expect to use condoms. I find that condoms create a barrier in bonding during love-making that is horribly sad and as a consequence I would rather not make love than make love with a condom. If that is a deal breaker I understand and wish you luck in finding another man that will use condoms.

Hello world of craigslist!
