I guess I felt the need to mention money since well I don't look like I stepped off the cover or GQ I need whatever advantage I can get, right? ;-)
I have my own car, truck, and townhouse... even a valid driver's license! ;-)
I feel the need to mention these things as so many girls I know sit here and say all they want is someone nice, who treats them well, and has a sense of humor. . ..only to find them dating some schmuck, who doesn't have a car, lives with his mom, and basically mooches off his girlfriend, but he lays brick for a living so he's ripped and has a nice tan. . .which is really what's important, so the chics dig him. He can't afford to take his girl out, or on vacation, and doesn't know how to pick up a check, but amazingly always has enough cash for a 12-pack of Busch Light.
Contrary to the bitterness that is probably coming forth, I'm really just a nice guy who will do anything for someone he cares for, who treats his girlfriend like a princess. Wow, did that sound more than a bit cliché?
What I'm saying is I could be the guy you saw at the bar last weekend that you gave a passing glance at. I'm going to say an average dude, maybe above average looks, but with an above average belly to go with it. . .hey nobody's perfect. I've never been married or engaged, and don't have any children so I guess I am "baggage free". I have had long -term relationships but they obviously just haven't worked out in the end, and I'm still searching for "the one".
So what am I looking for. . . well I can say the same thing... a girl that's smart, funny. . .generally makes me smile, who treats me right. . .oh and is pretty hot. I could have pulled out my thesaurus there, but nah, let's go with hot. I'm slightly kidding, just someone I find attractive, that's with a thin/athletic build, probably no more than 150lbs, and knows the difference between Victoria's Secret's lingerie section and Sears "lingerie" section. If you read between the lines on that, basically a girl who is less shallow than me. Yes, the irony abounds, and I know it.
I'm looking for a girl who thinks Coke from a glass bottle is a simple pleasure in life. A girl that's just as content getting dressed up, going out somewhere nice, splitting a bottle of wine with dinner, or sitting on the couch watching a movie, or could spend the entire weekend watching the entire series of "It's Always Sunny...". A girl who likes sushi and prefers sitting at the sushi bar to a table, because it's fun to shoot the breeze with the chefs and other patrons, and more importantly that's where you get free sake bombs ;-). A girl who likes having the door opened for her, because she likes just a bit of the old-fashioned politeness. A girl who likes getting flowers on some random day because I know it will make her happy or brighten a rough week at the office.
I'd really like a girl with a sense of adventure who if things click and a couple months after meeting (or less) has no problem hopping on a plane for a semi-spontaneous trip for a long weekend in Vegas.
I hate to weed out what I'm afraid is half the population but I'm also looking for a girl without any kids.
