Partner in adventure? (Idaho Falls) 25yr
If you name it, it's very possible I've done it. I love the getting out in the world, especially when the experience is shared with someone else. Put a backpack on me and I'm ready to go (if it's winter, just add skis). The same goes for a walk down by the river or lounging in the grass chatting. Weather's not so nice? How about staying inside with a fun board game or puzzle and mugs of tea?
I suppose it's the why more than the what. Does it bring joy? Does it connect me more with people and with God? Sure, life could be interesting simply pursuing my own desires, but I believe it can be so much more so when that life is spent passionately devoted to something greater, something that has meaning beyond myself. And I want to do that in partnership with someone!
Most importantly of all, I'm a Christian (not LDS). I'm looking for the same. My long-term plans include mission work abroad (as an engineer), but I'll definitely be here for a while getting experience. Could you consider living in a third world country for a career? Maybe we would return to the US when we're too old to work. :-)
The basic stuff: I'm a 25 year old white guy, 6'3" tall, and about 180 pounds. Brown hair, blue eyes, big ears. ;-)
A general list of my widely varied interests, in no particular order:
Outdoor: hiking, backpacking, photography, road biking, cross-country skiing, gardening, flying.
Indoor: Reading, cooking, knitting, listening to music (especially live folk music), dancing (especially contra dancing, but ballroom also), watching movies (usually at home instead of at the theatre).
Both outdoor and indoor: Talking, dreaming about the future.
I moved to Idaho last spring (for work). So, I'm new to the area and don't know a whole lot of folks here (except for at work). Even though I'm a transplant, the area suits me very well (I'd be crazy to move somewhere solely for work, especially when I had choices).
Even though I'm an engineer, I really do like talking with people. I don't get nearly enough personal interaction in my job. So, I'm not one of those engineer guys who would rather mess about on his computer or play video games; I need to be out and about with people. I really do try to have a caring heart, and I definitely try to avoid "fixing" everything, if you know what I mean. I think before I speak, but am completely honest in my interactions. I won't hide anything from you, I promise.
My approach to dating is sort of a slow one. :-) I'm not looking to dive right into a relationship. I'm looking for friends first, with the potential for dating. That's because "dating" for me is rather serious. For me, it's easier to get to know someone when it's a "just friends" thing. Make sense?
You must be an honest person, willing to take time to get to know each other, and willing to do so in the company of others. I feel strongly that interaction should be comfortable around other friends. If that's not the case, I suspect things will be difficult down the road. This means I don't want either of us to "drop off the face of the earth" socially, as I've seen way too many times with friends of mine. We get to both keep all our friends. What a deal!
At this point, I'm only looking for someone who's single (never married) and has no kids.

Because of my schedule ( work fulltime plus some, full time student, and two kids) I dont have much free time to meet new people, and trust me I need to meet some new people. I keep falling back into the same old routines and Im pretty much sick of it. First let me say that I am seeking a real partner, like I think you are. I consider myself a lot of what you are looking for , however; I AM NOT PERFECT, as I'm sure no one is.I am respectful, responsibleI try to be utmost honest, I am loving, lovable, and im 22 years old.
The only thing I'm "looking" for in a woman is that she is real, and understands herself to the point that she realizes, she is always still learning new things about herself everyday. Everyone can change, no one's predictable, and no one should expect someone else to be.
