Hi, please only respond is you are serious about actually getting to know someone and eventually would like to meet. Obviously you have to feel comfortable to meet, but if you have no intentions of meeting, why waste both of our time?
ME: I am a nice guy, single dad. Yes they will come first, but I hope to one day find someone who can be almost as equally important to me as they are. I have a good job, a career. Not much of a partier and hardly ever drink. I prefer more quite low key then out and about having "epic" nights. I like movies, sports, going out to eat- would be nice to go to a "non kid friendly" place for a change, with another adult. lol

Pretty good guy for someone (south of kato) 25yr
I'm a farmer and live south of kato a ways with my parents. The parents thing seems to be an issue but it really shouldn't be. I work here and don't have any siblings so it just seems like the thing to do I guess. My parents are cool and I have all the privacy I want. I got a DWI and I'm on probation so it limits my ability to meet girls. I'm not saying I'm only interested in "those types of girls" or anything like that. There are plenty of respectable girls who go to bars. I just can't go there for awhile and I really don't have much going on now. As far as moving out of my parents' house goes I would certainly live with a girl but I wouldn't just get my own place because that doesn't make sense to me. It'd be nice to have a reason to go to kato again. We could hang out, chill, or whatever you want to call it. I'm not one to pressure anyone into sex or anything like that. Whatever happens, happens. I'm not a bad-looking guy. I'm 6' 200 lbs. I'm decently active but I also eat quite a bit and I'm a good cook. We raise our own beef so we always have plenty of food. No, I am not crazy, I know it is still spring and these activities are more fall adventures. Is SANE now a dirty word? (South Central MN) 44yr
I would really, REALLY like to meet someone that is NORMAL. Does that exist anymore? Or has INsane become the normal. I'm a father first and foremost and that seems to be part of the issue. Failing on my new year's resolution (Mankato)
So here it is April already and I was looking back at my New Year's Resolution. I had a goal of dating more and possibly finding love in 2012. I always seem to find a reason to not go on dates. I am busy or tired or to shy or I have my kids or "she isn't right for me", or any any other lame reason. I told myself I was going to change that in 2012, and yet I actually have not been on one date in the "new year". (can you still call it a new year- going on month 4?) I LOVE the outdoors. I spend most of my summer and a large part of the winters outside. I mainly do alot of hiking(I'm currently training to hike the appalachian trail) and camping. I love hanging out with my friends and just being social. We'll hang out (or go out) and have drinks, play cards, watch sports or movies. I like getting out and going for walks, playing sports and just being active in general. I watch all types of movies (I'm excited to see the New Avengers movie), but my favorite types are horror and comedies. Do nice guys really finish last? (msu) 27yr
I just read a news article and I want to know how true it is. It talked about 9 types of guys that women don't look at twice and why.
1. guys shorter than 5'5-now i can understand this one. I'm 5'9 so a girl who is taller than that isn't exactly ideal for me. just seems strange
2.introverted guys-this one doesn't make sense. yes I'm a little introverted. but like the article said introverts usually are nicer and more romantic
3. guys who aren't up with style or quoting the article "guys with no flava"-this one is kinda annoying. I'm a t-shirt and jeans kind of guy
4. momma's boys-this to an extent i understand. but you can tell a lot about a man about how he treats his momma. if he treats his momma like crap. he will treat you like crap. (i treated my momma with love and respect just for the record)
5. long distance guys-again i understand this one. but the article did bring up a good point about relocating about other things why not love?
6. unemployed guys-with the economy as it is i think it could be forgiven or if the guy is in school(as i am and I'm still financially secure)
7. too young or too old guys-age is diffidently just a number that's if two things happen anyways. one being the two people are adults and two there is a real connection
8. guys with man boobs-yeah i got nothing on that one. i can understand that one (no i don't have man boobs lol)
9. caveman guys- the article talked about guys who were a little grungy. such as dirty finger nails and not shaved. we are guys that happens if we are doing any real work. and not shaving i keep myself clean cut.
so for the most part it sounds like nice guys finish last. maybe ladies you should take a second look at some of these guys. maybe see that being with a nice guy is better than the guys who are totally opposite of this list and are jerks.
Now as for me I'm 5'9 athletic build student at msu. short brown hair blue eyes. and i'm one of the nice guys that usually doesn't get a second look.

Figured I'd give this a shot since I haven't been with a girl in about 2 years for various reasons. First of all I live with my parents which seems to be an issue with a lot of girls. I'm the only kid in the family and I farm with my dad so I'm not a total bum. I do admit that I don't work very much and I have a degree in biology so I could probably get an actual job of some kind but I don't want to. I enjoy my vast amounts of free time. We're going to be planting soon so maybe someone would like to ride in the tractor with me. I'd also be interested in doing something like fishing and camping when planting is over. Another reason is that I got a DWI about a year ago. I can't go to bars anymore so that obviously limits my ability to meet girls. However even if I happen to meet girls I'm pretty bad at first impressions because I'm shy around people I don't know. It takes me some time to get used to them. I'm just used to knowing everyone I guess.
I've been told I'm not a bad looking guy. I'm 6'0" and about 200 lbs. I could stand to lose about 20 pounds but I like food too much. I'm also pretty good at cooking. I like cooking over wood and frying stuff in a cast iron skillet. As far as fashion goes I'm a mixture between scruffy homeless person and standard redneck work attire. You'll either find it endearing, be embarrassed to be seen in public with me, or perhaps a mixture of both.
