My name is jay and I grew up in a small town (Pop. 766) in Western Wisconsin on a dairy/tobacco farm. In high school I played all the sports my school offered (football, basketball, & baseball)... I still love to play sports and also enjoy watching them, so I would hope you would have a little interest in this area. After high school I went to UW-Eau Claire and graduated with a double major in Marketing & Management. Once college ended I had no idea what I wanted to do in life so I took an early retirement (approx. 9 months) where I hung out with my college buddies that were a year younger than me and just took a mental break... this break was well needed after going to school for 20+ years of my life). After they graduated I decided to move to Raleigh, NC to get out of the midwest and try something new. When I moved down there I had no friends, no job, nowhere to live... just loaded up my car and decided to go. When I got down there I met a lot of nice people and got a job in Marketing that allowed me to travel up and down the East Coast. The company expanded so much they asked 5 of us to move to Austin, TX to open up a new branch and I was one of the five. I enjoyed the music scene and the weather down south, but after about 2 years of being gone I decided to move back to the Midwest to be closer to family & friends (had 20 weddings in just under 2 years after I moved back). I've been in the cities for a couple years now and just bought a house with a college buddy that we are fixing up and looking to re-sell in a year or two when the market hopefully rises back up. I love the people here, but I'm just not sure if I'm cut out for the winters anymore... they seem to be getting longer and longer!
I'm 33years old, 6'5", stocky male and have a good job in sales (So I've got this thing called life figured out for the most part). I might not be the trendiest guy (the small town boy coming out in me), but definitely can keep a girl interested with my charm & sense of humor. I do love to party w/ my friends & family (I mean I am from Wisconsin), so if you don't drink at all please don't reply (not saying I got a problem.. just a deal breaker in my eyes). My story
I moved here 5 years ago to try to help a close friend out of a bad situation and start a new life with her while working at Mayo, those things have now come and gone and I am looking for someone to connect with who is genuinely happy to see me and welcomes extra attention from time to time.
