Not Expecting Much (Need Arty Woman) (Midlands)

Are You In A Relationship (Gilbert)
Hey! Let me start by saying I am NOT interested in someone who is married unless she assures me HE both knows AND approves. You may wonder why I would prefer to date someone who already is in a relationship, so let me give at least a couple of reasons why. To begin with it seems many women expect a guy to commit to her right away. They do this in a subtle way, generally by saying something like, "I am a one man woman." What she doesn't admit is that is women speak for, "Therefore, you better date me the way I feel you should date." Women that are already in a relationship but find something missing, or for any one of a number of other reasons, are not inclined to dictate to me that I must only date her. Another reason is that women that are already in a relationship, but unhappy therein, or are not certain he is The One for her, are already relationship oriented, so this is quite appealing to me. I also am not saying unattached women are not relationship oriented, only that more often than not they either fall into the "arm twisting" status as described above, or they bring a lot of baggage and/or drama...neither of which I want.
Let me add one other type of woman I am absolutely not interested in. It seems many of the women I happen to meet via the personals, and especially the few I have met from here, clearly do not have a clue as to what an average body type is like. I don't know if they are delusional, or honestly just don't have a clue. So, just so we are on the same page, please know someone 5'3 and 130 pounds is quite overweight. I don't mind SOME weight (because of older age and/or children), but come on, rolls of belly fat (and yes, men fit this description too) has to tell you something. Sure our opinions may differ, and we can argue who is more accurate. If you want to try to convince me that 5'3 and 130 pounds is an average weight tell me what legal authority you use so that I can verify it. Personally I use The Body Mass Index since this is what the American Medical Association uses. As I said, SOME extra weight is understandable, but let's be realistic. I am not interested in BBWs, regardless of how wonderful you are, or what I might be missing.
As for me, I am a middle aged SWM, 6', and about 194. Yes, that is overweight as well, but I don't even remotely look like I am pregnant! I am very health conscious, watch my diet, and am into holistic medicine. I live alone (with my pets), am gainfully employed, and have my own transportation. I do not have any tattoos or piercings. I do not smoke or do drugs. Drinking is very limited to a drink with dinner....maybe. I am not into partying, going to clubs and/or bars, or being among crowds. I have many interests.

I was always good with my hands and when we were kids, my friends in the neighborhood always came to me for help with things like building Tree-Houses, fixing and modifying Bicycles, building Mini-Bikes, Go_karts, and Motorcycles, souping-up Camaros & Trans-Ams...racing up & down South Blvd or Sharon Amity, East Independence, I-77 and outrunning Cops just for the fun of it. Nowadays, you can't outrun'em with their high-tech toys.
One time we were cruising by Charlotte Motor Speedway...no one was out there...I drove my '74 Camaro with 2 buddies up to the infield and we found an Unlocked Gate to get onto the track. The guy in the back seat said "No man! we're gonna get caught! told him to get out and stand guard by the gate if he wanted to...he didn't. So we all 3 went around 1 time at about 55 to 75 mph. Felt smooth...I had my BF-Goodrich radial TA's, Blackjack Headers, Holley 650 spread-bore, T-Handle shifter, new Coils springs & Leaf springs, Koni shocks, Front & Rear spoilers with a Hood scoop, Hush Thrush mufflers, KLH speakers & JBL stereo...felt & sounded good as hell. It purred like a kitten all around the track! On the second lap I opened it up all the way and got up to 120mph. Slowing down, the car started shaking, at 90mph (oh shit) but it smoothed out as we kept slowing down (must have just been a Critical vibration Speed issue) anyway we got out, swung the gate shut, left undetected and made it home to brag about it. We used to raise all kinds a hell. Later, I grew up & went to work full-time. Got married just once, had kids, later could not take the selfish drama of the wife at the time.
I worked in Lancaster SC, 3 years for a German company that made truck parts for Kenworth, etc. Thought I'd be there forever, so i bought me a patch of woodlands in Kershaw hoping I could drive just 20 minutes, instead of 50, to get to work. Set-up a small storage trailer. Slept in it several times while clearing the land on weekends. Can go out in my woods, shoot my guns, Bow & arrows and still be within my property lines, no problem. I got 2 neighbors down there that raise horses, one is a Farrier. Another has a 6 acre pond that me & my kids Fish on (he's the one from work, that told me about the land for sale down there). After the Germans moved the factory to Georgia, I had to come back to Charlotte for work. Fuck! I hated living up here, and leaving down there! Anyway, I divorced 10 years ago & my 3 sons are 12, 15, & 18 years old. Now I'm living with my 2 sisters, one older than me, the other younger. Just noticed Craig's List personals... I started with the Jobs part of it first. Still looking for Permanent work as a back-up plan in case this "temp. job" runs out later.
