I don't even know to be honest. I've been posting on craigslist for a while now and it's pretty tough to find normal/mature people. Seems with time, any hope for quality is getting worse.
Being genuine is seen as fake...vice versa. The list can go on.
The only thing I DO know of that can be seen as "normal" in this life...CHANGE. Things aren't the way they used to be AT ALL (that's for sure). Boys who haven't matured posing as men and girls doing the same, lol. I always thought a man was someone who owns up to his mistakes and is honest to others as he is to himself. One who respects others while standing up for what he believes (with reason) and only uses force only to defend himself (sometimes others).
Hmph... I remember a time when people accepted one another based on actions and respect...what he is made of. Not what they look like...how deep their pockets are.
But maybe that's what happened because people have taken advantage of that for so long. I'm sure that's not every man and woman tho...
Everyone makes mistakes and I believe in attraction but being shallow is such a waste of time. There has to be a medium (in my opinion).
What happened to liking someone for WHO they are? Seems like everyone is wrapped up in the idea of what a man and woman looks like

They forgot the simple things in life. (just to name a few)

I figure I'll give this a shot. What do I have to lose?
26 year old African-American(though, I could pass for 18-20, according to most folks, hahaha), 5'3", brown-eyes, and black hair in a crew cut/high&tight style. Outside of that, since I have my bachelors, I figure I can develop hobbies again, looking to learn how to play a guitar.
Of course, as someone who desires a relationship, I would like to find a partner. Since it's a bit difficult finding the right one, I figure laying down the info here and see what comes my way.
