Talk nerdy to me (Cuyahoga Falls) 27yr
Good Evening!
Admittedly it is hard to write about oneself but I will give it a try. So as the title may imply I am a nerd. Before I go into detail about why I'm a nerd let me tell you about some of my non-nerd interests. Basically I try to keep things copacetic. I enjoy horseback riding, running, weight-lifting, cooking, music, movies, foreign language, scotch (yes, as in the liquor not the tape), etc. As I said copacetic. I do my best to try to keep an open mind about life. It's all about trying new things and going to new places.
Anyways, like I said I am a nerd. I hold a bachelors of science in Computer Science and in the future I would like to begin working towards my Microsoft certifications. I work in IT performing help desk and desktop support duties. It's a good gig and I enjoy it. Hoping to work my way up to System Administrator some day though. So yeah, I enjoy computers, video games, star wars, lord of the rings and all that cool stuff. But as I grow older I do find myself wanting to branch out. I even have nerdy tattoos as well. :-)
Despite my varied interests I am at heart a nerd. Hence why I think it would be best for me to date a girl that is also a nerd or geek. Even though I think they are synonymous many people do not. But if you're not a nerd but are interested in the nerd side or can at least understand my interests then I would still like to talk to you. As for me, I am completely unattached. I really never know where to start with these.
Life is funny sometimes, and I never thought I would be back on any dating site. I usually say I haven't met anyone online before, but truth be told, my last three relationships came from here, and though they didn't work out, they were a learning experience. What matters to me is that I found happiness, even if it was just for a year or so. I've never been the conventional guy. I don't know anything about cars, I don't have tattoos, piercings, washboard abs, or a love of or understanding of sports.
Instead, what you'll find here is a guy that likes anything intellectual. I'm a hardcore gamer, and I can recommend and name titles of almost any sort. I don't read often, but I consider myself a good writer. My post will either be testament to that or a pop to my ego, and I would not mind either outcome. I love theatre and classic films, and I actually worked for two years building scenery. Ask me about the leprechaun sometime. Though I've never really been partial to music, I usually have my headphones blaring with my latest auditory obsession.
I didn't used to have ambitions, but these days I am determined to make something successful of myself. I'm currently in the process of opening a business involving writing and editing, and I have found a demographic, as well as cheap office space, that promises a good profit after I finish out college. In short, I should be doing just fine after college. Carving out my own little slice of paradise is an aspiration for me, and I'd like to find someone that agrees with that.
At the end of the day, I want someone like me. I need someone smart. Most people say they don't care what you look like, and fall subject to personal bias...but, I truly don't care. The body doesn't last forever, and I'm hoping to find a woman to share what I'm steadily creating with. I've met a few ex-girlfriends that I truly thought would be that woman, and I still believe there is someone out there. I have a passion in my heart, and I want to share it. I am a patient man, and I will give anyone a chance with a fire in her soul. Show me your passion, and I will show you mine.
