That's all I ever do since I moved up here a couple of mos ago and it is getting real old. I would like to find someone to help me change that.
I'm 6'2 dirty blonde hair blue eyes a father of one 4 Yo. I like to camp, go to the coast, ride my motorcycle, watch movies, and travel. I work at a local truck stop graveyard shift so it it's kinda had for me to meet anybody. Right now i'm living with family cuz I just moved up from California. Hopeing to get everything in order before I do get my own place.I don't drink anymore at all our do drugs/420.

Well here goes a shot in the dark, tried dating sites, started out as sucess and then crashed and burned, made the mistake of not waiting long enough to really let the person show their true colors before getting serious.
Before i explain who im looking for, i should tell you a little about who i am and what i stand for. Im a Fifty year old man, i stand 6.0" weigh in at 150, in other words slim in stature, i graduated high school, and started community college in police science, it provided the challenge and "never knowing" whats behind the next door work environment that is my nature, My second love was forestry but careers in that field are going away. I tried a career in management and did very well but couldn't deal with the polotics. I finally wound up in Driving log truck............Man what a blast, half the day in the woods and the other half doing battle with freeway traffic, home every night and weekends off, we;; once again timber products wained off and i was forced to retool and go long haul, hated leaving my family, wife of 20 years and two outstanding girls, but bills have to be paid. Well the marrage failed after doing so and i wound up cruising the country looking for a new start, saw all lower 48, shopped property prices, and wound up in Baker.
Long story short, i am buying a home in Baker, have lived here for 5.5 years and have a good job with a trucking company in Payette Id. Ive been with them for 9 years, due to good job performance, i have been allowed to make my own schedule, i go out for 14 days and then take 3 off. It's a schedule i can live with, it allows me the time to tend to my "home" not a house and try and build a life after divorce, it's just i never can seem to find a single woman with like ideas on my days off.
My hobbies are fishing "stream is the best" camping, boating "i have one' and best of all Quad running, just love to explore old roads, old mine shafts, or just make it all the way to the top of a mountain and see the sights, it's so peacefull, after life in the fast lane for two weeks. I used two fly private aircraft and would like to try sky diving, used to ski, and would like to try snowboarding.
My religion is Catholic, however i have moved on, ive visited many churches and religions and found them all to be MONEY oriented and are back biters, i instead of walking away from God , challenged him to show me, AND HE DID i have a closer relationship with the Father now then i did before and will always seek him out for answers......Ive never been let down!
I have everything i ever wanted in life except a woman that can go the distance, im just looking for a woman that wants to have some fun and if things work between us go.... JUST THAT......."the distance'
The good and the bad, all the vows that you said you would abide by when you made the covenet with God.
With my career i do not expect marrage anymore, just a woman that wants to start enjoying simple things in our own back yard, and to feel complete.
Ive dealt with women that have alterier motives and im not an idiot and i wont be scamed any longer. Ive wasted far to much time.
If your some youngin looking for a sugar daddy, then just blow on by and you will find someone that suits your needs, if your a fine woman that just wants a good man and someone to face lifes challenges. I have dated a woman from Boise for a year and a half but realized my heart is where i live and wont change to move to another area, i hated to put that to the test but she felt the same and it ended, ive chosen to make my stand in Baker.
Now as to what i want in a woman friend, im looking for FULL grown, one that i can sit at a campfire wtih and have like minded experiences with.
In closing i would sure like to just have someone to do things with on my days off, i grow tired of being lonely.
oh and by the way, i can take people with me in my job

I don't know what to think of the dating game now a days. i've dated a couple of women in the past few months. One ended up annoying me to the point of "losing" contact. And the other ended up relapsing on meth and disappeared. WTF. Am I really that unfortunate am I the only one that shit like this happens to? I just want a normal, happy, clean, open-minded woman. I listen to all different kinds of music; I love watching any kind of movie. I am not offended easily and a quick wit with a broad sense of humor is a must. I work a normal labor job, not the greatest pay, but it pays the bills. I have 4 kids that I spend a lot of time with. My living situation is different than most but it works out for me quite well. I push my own wheels. I'm honestly one of the most open minded people you'll ever meet. I'm not judgmental in the slightest bit. To each his own, right? I joke around and poke fun a lot, keeps people on there toes. My one absolute put my foot down "requirement" is that your healthy. Not talking weight, i'm talking healthy. I don't want to date a woman that would rather eat chips than an apple. Or drink Coke-Cola instead of fruit juice. I want someone that can keep up with my energy and then some. so if you fit, even in the slightest, hit me up. one last thing, I have a huge respect issue with religion. I don't like to be preached at. I know what I believe and as long as you respect that then I have no problem discussing it in depth both ways. O.K. Ladies, I'm going out on a limb. (Boise) 66yr
I've tried the on-line dating services with little if any positive results. It seems as if most women are looking for someone right off the pages of Gentleman's Quarterly. I'm not. They also are looking for someone with a lot of money. I don't. They're looking for a Knight in Shining Armor. I'm NOT a Knight, I have no armor and I'm a little tarnished. They want someone to "travel to exotic places with, play tennis, go dancing, enjoy fine dining," etc. That's all well and good, but that's just not me.
What I AM is, a seasoned man with a lot of good qualities. I'm honest, loyal, friendly, courteous, outgoing, and reasonably handsome for a man my age. I'm a non-drinker, non-smoker, well read, with some college education, but no degree. I'm artistic, opinionated, a political conservative and a good conversationalist. I love animals (especially dogs) and children. I don't have a "rap sheet." I've never been arrested and my last traffic ticket was over 18 years ago.
I love the out doors, I ride a motorcycle, have a concealed weapons permit and I'm a Vietnam veteran. I'm a history buff and my favorite TV program is Jeopardy. I enjoy taking the less beaten path....just to see what's there. I have a lot of gray hair....long, too. Part of my "bucket list." I'm hard-headed and soft-hearted. I find great joy in the simpler things in life. I'm continually on the path to being a better person, although the results are still out.
So....as I said in the heading, I'm kinda' going out on a limb here. I've met a lot of extremely flaky people in the past few years, but, I've heard it said that "There's a lid for every pot," so I'm not ready to give up just yet.
I'm not overly concerned about external looks. What's inside is much more important to me. Most of the ads here are from much younger men, but I'm quite sure there are women in my age group that are looking for a worthwhile man in their lives. I just might be him. If what I had to say about myself appeals to you, give me a reply and we'll see where this "less beaten path" takes us.
****Well....within five hours of this post, I've had four "offers" from women in their 20's and 30's wanting to send me "pictures." I don't want to see pictures of you naked! I don't want a massage with a "happy ending." For God's sakes....I'm 66 years old! I've sown bushels of wild oats and trust me, you have NOTHING I haven't seen before! I am brand spanking new to North East Oregon -- just relocated here to manage an establishment. Was born in Europe -- to European parents -- mother remarried - relocated to Brooklyn, NY -- was naturalized at 12.
