I am someone who is good looking, funny, sometimes odd, into the unpopular animals, family oriented, and waiting for the one to come. I know this probably one of the last places I should look but I hardly get out and mostly keep to myself so going out just to meet people in bars and clubs isn't really my thing. Not that I would necessarily be against going to either with someone I met on here to find out what its like.
To define being worth my time, lets just say I meet women and all they want to do is text. I get the wanting to get to know each other part, but when you are dead set on ONLY texting or emailing and not wanting to take it a step further or even talk about it, you are a waste of my time. Although getting cozy with a scorpion next the warm computer tower is somewhat a kick for me, I would rather be getting cozy with someone human next to a fireplace or space heater lol.

Hello ladies! First of all, my ad is 100% honest and completely out in the open because if you start off lying about yourself or keeping everything a secret, you're guaranteed to attract the wrong person. I had a girlfriend a while back who corrupted me and now I'll never be the same! Her biggest fantasy was to get it on with a guy while her man watched So I decided to make her wish come true because I wanted her to be happy and I learned a couple of things about myself in the process. That sharing my lady really turns me on and that I can still love and respect her afterwards! Nothing changes. I have broken this profile up in two separate categories. The first part focuses on the relationship aspect of things and the second part targets what I'm looking for sexually. If you have a few minutes, read it over and let me know what you think!
These are my top 3 relationship qualities...
#1. I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve and my ability to truly love someone is something that no one has been able to match yet! When I commit to my partner, I go all the way and it's usually too much for the other person. A lot of people are afraid of their own emotions and get scared when they start to feel vulnerable. Then it isn't long before they become destructive and screw things up so they can go back to a "comfort zone". Not me. I have no fear of love and I realize that when it's the real thing, it's too powerful to control. That's what makes it so wonderful & exciting!
#2. I am probably one of the most affectionate people you'll ever meet and it doesn't dwindle away as the relationship progresses either. It's just who I am! I love to cuddle, hold hands, give lots of hugs & kisses and feel close to the person I'm with. I'm not smothering by any means but I'm also not the type to turn you away when you want or need my attention!
#3. I'm a communicator and I don't believe that time automatically heals things or that "kissing and making up" is the final answer either. Problem solving is and it's the single most important attribute that you can bring into a relationship. If you can't work through one simple argument, it will be impossible for you to make it as a couple. You have to be able to sit down eye to eye and discuss your issues until you can reach a solution. Then both people have to keep their word and follow through with their end of the agreement. Those who can't do this usually end up as part of that ugly divorce rate we have in this country!
My favorite things to do as a couple are...
This might sound silly but I really enjoy cooking together! You crank up some tunes, practice a little teamwork in the kitchen and create something tasty to eat for dinner. Sometimes it's fun to come up with new recipes and try different things too! Another thing I love to do is go for long drives, stop at the scenic points and take pictures. I am drawn to the mountains, lakes, rivers and particularly the ocean. You can find new restaurants to eat at along the way and maybe even settle down for the evening at a nice cozy motel. And last but not least, snuggling under the covers and watching movies is high on my list as well. Maybe order a pizza or some Chinese food, make love in between the shows, take a hot shower together and then start it all over again!
Here are some additional things about me...
1. I'm faithful. I have never cheated on anyone and I never will.
2. I am drug free and I don't have a criminal record.
3. I'm not abusive in any way and I've never hit a woman.
4. I can be completely goofy at times but I also know when to be serious!
5. I am neat, clean and organized.

On a humble journey to make great friends & rediscover love (NE Salem, OR) 28yr

I'm the first person to admit that I'm better at making great friends of those I meet than finding someone more meaningful in my life, but that doesn't impede my determination to reach that moment when I've at last found someone worth real unconditional love beyond adequate description- anything less is unacceptable though its worth all the effort imaginable to me. As arduous as that journey has been its turned me into one of the most humble and honest people anyone could ever meet, though very few seem to have the guts to. I have room in this heart of mine for everyone I've ever met, but more than anything I want to let the right one in, no matter the toll it takes. I'm not sure how much longer I'll keep trying on Craigslist because I rarely get serious replies, but the possibility of finding someone amazing is too enticing for me to give up just yet.
In a nutshell, I'm a sensibly outlandish young guy with an endless smile and a big heart. On top of that, I'm an honest, humble, caring, positive, outgoing person that's very active as sort of a jack of all trades- I'm a longboarder, photographer, artist, and novelist -I've been writing on and off a post modern war romance epic in a four part arc. I've even put it online in preview form and given out advance copies and I hope to get my work published this year- I'm pushing myself hard like never before to make it finally happen. If you like a good read, I might have something you'll enjoy. Of course that's just my bread and butter, as a whole I'm much more than that.
Before I go any further, if you wonder why this description of myself is so long its because I'm a real person behind these words I've chosen, I have nothing to hide, little to lose, and much to look forward to, as unbelievable as I might seem. I'm more genuine than you'd ever expect, I'm putting my conscience on the line, and my intentions are just as honest. As such, I can't find anyone who is lacking of honesty or courage to be attractive. Most replies I've received so far have been either one or the other-even once when I thought I might have finally found that which I have endured for for so long, I was once again wrong, though I have made some good friends along the way. I'm still looking for that someone, and I may be relegated to endlessly searching, but I can't simply give up. Would you, if you were to walk in my shoes?
I love to make people smile, and I'm always willing to crack a joke, oftentimes at my own expense, to bring out the laughs. When it all comes down to it I'm looking to make good friends and maybe, just maybe- meet someone that I could fall in love with, and become something more with someday. To be honest it feels like that's the least likely thing ever to happen in my life, but I know that being patient and positive is key to seeing past that. Like being the right person in the wrong place, but that sometimes can make all the difference.
And just so you know, I'm not about emitting uncomfortable vibes or drama or anything of that sort, I'm not about to jump down anyones' pants and I don't believe in the concept of friends with benefits at all. I see the pursuit of casual intimacy as being something short lived, whereas I seek something more meaningful, something worth more than words.
I'm in the process of looking for what little employment is available in Salem while the economy is in recovery as well as working what small construction jobs are out there and repairing peoples' computers like a plumber that fixes leaks, doing various handyman work, pretty much whatever I can, learning as much as I can take in, whenever possible that I can apply to in skilled trades. I'm trying to push myself as a novelist so I can get away from wearing myself down and watching my health slip.
I don't own a cellphone, mostly because it does no good to own a phone no one bothers to call despite claims to the contrary. I do Skype and Facebook though (I'm Abe Lambright, in case you want to put a name to the face) and have a landline. I'm working on getting a Honda or some other gas sipping poot scoot that can get me out of podunk and down to the coast for a spell. I typically commute out of town (though I do enjoy driving) for construction and remodel work and can't justify driving in Salem when I'm right smack in town and I can fairly quickly get anywhere important on a longboard without spending $4 a gallon to be stuck in Salem traffic. I feel fantastic doing it, it keeps me rather good shape and thus I skate every day I can. I just recently completed a 24 hour endurance longboarding event called Ultraskate on October 2nd, put in well over 100+ miles, and hope to get the chance to push again with everything I've got, and I'm the first stages of planning a food drive for Salem in the form of an Ultraskate within the next six months.
I'm also the seventh son and last son in my huge family of thirteen (I'm number twelve) and then some to be single, which makes for great stories and laughs in and of itself. It's my ambition to make each and every day more meaningful than the last, as I find when stopping to notice that life moves too fast.
Beliefs wise, I believe in myself, my friends and family, life, liberty, good karma, selflessness, humility, unconditional love, and the pursuit of that which doth rock and shred righteous gnar. I don't have a religion to belong to, but I believe that the future is something worth looking forward to, that to bring it about takes hard work, luck, being humble to a fault, and that the harder I work the more luck I have.
I believe that in the journey of my life there's someone amazing out there that I genuinely hope to one day embrace and fall head over heels for, and I know that's worth all that which I have put my conscience on the line for and the efforts and trials that accompany. Regardless of life's tendency to keep the most important things just slightly out of reach and the fact that the future isn't guaranteed by any means, I hope by some remote chance someday to find myself in that moment, resolute that all that has been leading up to then has been of immeasurable worth, that the value of my actions has brought about the most amazing person I'll ever have met.
I also love to watch movies, I really enjoy old films of the blaxploitation genre, Bruce Lee films, Stanley Kubrick films (of which 2001: A Space Odyssey is among my all time favorites) f-grade 80's cinema, anime movies, comedies, and the classics. Usually the crazier the better.
And of course, I love music, I run the gamut and love a lot of stuff out there from David Bowie to Neil Young, and much in between like Daft Punk, Floater, MGMT, Nick Drake, Radiohead, and Norah Jones. Not into country or soft rock or pop. Not really my bag, it's different strokes for different folks.
As far as a first date goes, I absolutely do not expect to date anyone anytime soon, but I'd aim to have a good time, and a safe one at that if I were to get that chance. Maybe grab up a bottle of wine, a camera, some dinner to go, and find a spot to listen to some music and see the sunset melt away into starlight. I'd do just about anything unconventional for a date, though within reason.
So what am I after? Someone electric. Someone bold. Someone that sets my soul on fire. Someone that loves to laugh. Someone that shreds. Someone that has personality. Someone that is artistic. Someone that speaks her mind. Someone that loves life, lives it for what its worth, and loves to cut loose. Someone who's bright, courageous, honest, intuitive, cute, ambitious, and looks forward to the possibilities. Everyone I meet has something amazing to them, more than anything I hope someday that I meet someone that just amazes me by embracing the best in herself.

Short notice travel companion (Salem)
Hi, I know this is short notice, but what the heck. I'm traveling to Sumpter,OR this Memorial weekend and thought it would be nice to have a travel companion this time. I go there at least three times a year to camp, attend the large flee market, gold pan and explore the old gold mines. I have been doing this know for the past four years. A problem with no solution?
I am a 50 y/o, white, male. All the women on here are 21 to 35 years old. Any lady, it seems, that is older than 35 is already "spoken for" (that is an old phrase). Hi. My name is Rod. I have muscles like rocks and rocks like muscles. I provide life support for one of the best pieces of equipment in the universe which, when angry, is too lengthy to fit in my Ferrari, which I use to shuttle back and forth among my various vacation homes.

If you're still reading this, allow me to tell you a little about myself! I'm an avid musician, and have been for more than 15 years.
