I'm nervous to try this but tired of being single. I've been divorced for a very long time with relationships since that haven't worked for one reason or another. I also have no children but still want to someday. on a detour route (Redding ) 38yr
It is funny to me that so many people post the same thing over and over again. You all want someone who is "REAL" someone that isn't afraid to be who they are, but when you find that person there is always a reason you don't go for it. They have too much weight on for your liking, or they don't make enough money or you think they are digging for your money. I am the furthest from being perfect I don't have money, but I make do like always. I don't party or do drugs. I love the outdoors, and am a country girl at heart. I do smoke and I have issues with messy people, and no. . . my house isn't perfect, but it is clean. I miss being a house wife with a part time job. Not going to lie about that. I miss having someone to cook a nice homemade dinners for and go shopping for. I miss having someone open the doors for me and keep me supplied in fresh flowers. I miss the simple things like making lunch for you in the morning so that it is fresh before you go to work and that first cup of coffee with you before you go is the best way to start my day. I miss being mad at you and you making me laugh because you know you can, just so I forget why I'm even mad in the first place. I miss you sitting close to me when we watch a scary move because you know how I get scared. You even keep the lights on for me until I get in bed because you know I am going too cuddled up so close to you the whole night. I miss walking on the beach on one of our weekend trips to the coast. I miss the idea of forever in your arms and the feeling I get when I think of the way you touched me last night. I miss filling the tub for a hot bath for you and me, just so we can relaxing together with nothing but the candle light. I miss the camping trips and you teaching to fly fish because you know I have always wanted to learn but never did. I miss our time in the yard working together, and the BBQs in the back yard. I love that no matter how mad you get at me you could never raise your hand to hurt me. I love that when I see you I know that my world is complete and you feel the same way. I love that you can laugh with me, maybe even at the silly things I do. I love that you know I want to travel the world someday and you will be right with me the whole way even if it has to be on the discovery channel for most of it. I love that you let me be me and I let you be you. . .sure we have both changed a little from when we first met, but it wasn't because we had to but because we wanted to. I know you love football and as long as you let me support my team when they play I'm ok with making all the fixings and cleaning up the mess you and your buddies made in the living room. I love that you won't join me in Zumba class but you're willing to get on the treadmill next to me as we work to be healthy together. I love that you let me be there for you when you just need someone to lean on. You know I support you and am always there for you because you do the same for me. I love that you humor my adventurous side because you have the same adventurous side to you. I love that you can ground me because you know I'm a dreamer and can get caught up in the moment and float to close to the sun. I love that we are not perfect in any way but we are perfect for each other. I love that you know I'm a simple person that doesn't need to have lavish expenses showered on me. I love that we are friends first and always. I'm not afraid to tell you my deepest secrets because you will keep them safe, and you know I will do the same for you. But what I miss the most is that this hasn't happened yet. I hate we have had this dream together for so long and yet we seem to miss each other on the paths we travel on right now. I know that you are on a detour route as am I but when we find each other I promise to never leave you behind or fall behind you. I will walk with you always and forever!
