It's summer now, so the season of endless term papers, exciting speakers, random parties and sleepless nights has officially come to a close until the next turn of the seasons.
In short, it is so quite that I can no longer distract myself from the fact that New Haven is perhaps not the most habitual city. I just turned 21 in March, so hopefully you don't mind a girl younger than yourself, as I prefer guys in the 25-32ish age range (but this is not a rule set in stone). I am currently finishing up my undergraduate degree in marketing and economics with a concentration in fashion marketing and minor in Italian. As you can image, that has left me as a pretty busy person with little time to meet people the "traditional" way... and for the record, Im not into the bar scene either.
I have been single since right before this past Thanksgiving, when I ended a year and half long relationship with my ex for a number of reasons which I suppose boiled down to the simple fact that we were far too different to work as a couple. Since then, my life has turned into what feels like a 7 day cycle that renews each Monday morning lol... School, gym, work...school, gym, work...etc. and by the time Saturday comes around I have little motivation to do any kind of work other than the gym.
I would love to meet someone who can break up the monotony of my week...who I can look forward to hanging out with on a Friday night even if its only to fall asleep in their arms. I want someone who will wake me up with a text that makes me smile and starts my day off good... someone who I can turn to at the end of a long, bad day, who's voice alone makes things better instantly....having said all that, I also want that person to have their own life. Have a career (not to be confused with a job), friends that you grab a beer with in the middle of the week, and hobbies that you enjoy. Someone who doesn't need to be attached to my hip 24/7, but who genuinely misses my company when I am not there.
Ideally, that guy would love sports, traveling (near and far), and trying new things. He would be tall, white, clean cut (even a touch preppy) and athletic/muscular, NOT fit-in-girls-jeans skinny lol...but most of all, DRIVEN and AMBITIOUS. He would be smart, but down to earth (a plus if he can make me laugh)... and maybe even creative enough to surprise me from time to time. I am 5' 3ish, olive skin, long dark brown hair and brown eyes...definitely willing to share pics once I know you are looking for the same kind of relationship as me and you're my type. =)
