I know CL isn't the best place to meet someone, but it is an avenue that allows one to be a little more specific so I am choosing to use it this morning. I made a choice at a young age that I wanted to wait to have children. I was married & we both wanted to focus on our careers. Then my divorce happened, then a promotion came, then another promotion and I was moved out of state (to KC). I always said husband & kids could come later. Well, later is here and it is difficult to meet people when you are never somewhere TO meet people.
I would like to meet someone between the age of 32 to 55 that would like to be married and raise a family. If he has children already, great, if he doesn't, even better. I am open to all races but generally lean towards dating black or bi-racial men. I have learned that the connection two people feel is far more important that a "type". Intelligent men that enjoy life and enjoy laughing catch my attention quickly. I am very sensitive to cigarette smoke so I can not and will not date a smoker.
I prefer to date someone taller than me, so please be AT LEAST 5'11" if you email me.
I would like to meet someone with some old fashioned family values. Someone that still thinks a family should eat dinner around the dinner table, someone that still believe children should be raised to see loving, communicative, relationships, not tempers flying & disrespectful insults being hurled at each other.
I tend to stay busy, I enjoy lifting weights, I force myself to do cardio, but I am not skinny or even hwp. I am not a couch potatoe though. I'm a divorced mom of two wonderful little boys and I moved to the area about 3 months ago to start a new for myself. My boys live with their dad but I see them very frequently. I have zero drama with my divorce as my ex and I get along really well. Better off friends than lovers..lol.

I am SO confused... (kansas city)
I want an 'old fashioned' relationship...
I want to get to know you before you start asking me uber personal questions. I want the door held open for me, I want to be treated like a lady, I want to be complimented when you think I look nice, for these things I will treat you like a gentleman. I will respect you just like you should respect me. I don't want someone who is crazy and has warped views of what a relationship should be like. I am the best mix of country and city. I love to get dirty hiking or riding 4-wheelers, but I also own several black dresses. I can shoot a gun, bait a hook, bake a cake, cook a 7 course meal, I can teach algebra, know how to shoot a hook shot (and do it almost every Monday night), love to go to sporting events and have a beer or stay at home and relax on the couch. Okay, I've put ads on here and have never been dishonest but guess I have not been as blunt as I should be. I am fat. Call it BBW if you want. I don't have "a few extra pounds," no "love handles" I can't seem to get rid of, I'm fat. I am 250 lbs. I have begun exercising daily but just began that in the last 3 weeks or so. I assume it'll be a while before I begin seeing results from that. Aside from that; I have a reasonably attractive face, beautiful eyes from what I'm told (although I have a difficult time accepting compliments) and am on the shorter side, 5'4". So when I've posted on here in the past, I've had guys that describe themselves as having stepped off of a GQ cover shoot email and say they're interested. I didn't believe them then and I won't believe them with this ad. That is not what I'm trying to attract nor what I am attracted to. I'm not the ugliest or fattest thing you'll ever meet (or email, or talk to) but I am also nowhere near the prettiest or thinnest. I'm shy at first, I could use a bit of work in the self confidence department, I have a dry/sarcastic sense of humor, I'm typically a people-pleaser. I'm at a job that I'm happy enough with I can honestly say I plan on retiring from it about 25 or years from now. That's a few things about me. Oh, I also have one child; if you don't want a kid in the picture, move on. I'm attracted to larger men, taller than me is a plus. By larger, I mean larger. I don't mean 175 lbs. Looks don't matter; and I really mean looks don't matter.

This morning while I was making breakfast (for 1) I started to get the feel of being single.
