Last night, I lay in my bed listening to the crickets, and feeling the warm gentle breeze on my skin, then I heard the welcome sound of thunder and rain. I began to think about the next, perhaps last, and maybe even the best years of my life. Will I have someone to share these special, breath taking moments with?
I hope to have at least another 20 good years to share with someone, maybe more if we are lucky. :) I realize that a good relationship takes time to develop, albiet, that time could be expidited if "he" is meant for me, and I for him. Some people have this...I have seen it before, and so have you.
I don't want to "rush" into something, simply to not be alone. To settle for anything less than you and I are searching for, would not lead to a genuine relationship. It's the quality I am talking about. I am content with my life as it is, but I think it could be so much more meaningful to have that special man to share it with. I am able to make it financially, taking care of my needs. I am by no means wealthy in a monetary way, but I do feel blessed by some riches that money can never buy. You know what I mean by that. I am ok mentally, spiritually, and physically for the most part. If you happen to be the one for me, you will echo these sentiments.
I have not been looking for this person, because it has been said that love will come along when you are not looking for it. HA! LMBO! I say, always keep that one eye open, and maybe someday.........could this be our "someday?"
