Just a small town girl (Rochester area) 37yr
I grew up in a small town & still live in one now. I have a positive attitude, sense of humor, am loyal, honest, and very family oriented. I like just about all kinds of music, with country being my favorite genre. I enjoy camping, a little fishing, walks, movies either at home or out, having a couple of beers, concerts & live bands, and shooting darts. My favorite color is purple and my favorite food is probably chinese. I like to go out sometimes like everybody else, but am not into hanging out at the bar or drinking every weekend. I am finding that since am single again meeting singles at my age is a bit hard. I am pretty much an open book, so if you want to know, just ask.

Boy was that a mistake PT 2 edited (se mn)
Since my previous posting of "Boy was that a mistake Pt2" was long winded and full of dry humor which some of you did not appreciate, I have now edited and provided you with the most upmost humor I can muster at this time, music is turned up and pounding in my ears as I once again attack my keyboard with the vengeance of a thirsty vampire with no teeth!!!!!
I will begin by telling about a date a friend of mine went on:
He met them at a local bar (his date and her friend--two woman-a man's dream), both were robust, strong looking women, blonde Nordic-Type, get the pic; the kind who can cut down a tree, start a fire and cook you dinner in under 15 minutes. Well chit chat went on for awhile when they brought up that they have this cabin in the Great North Woods, no electric no water but there is a river nearby, plenty of water there. Now my friend is a city boy his idea of camping is the nearest Motel with no room service (he considers that roughing it), so when they suggested that he come and stay for a few days visions of chains and ropes loamed in front of his eyes and the movie "Deliverance" came to mind while the statement "come on city boy, squeal like a pig," echoed in his ears. Needless to say he beat feet out of that bar leaving them in the dust, it's been over a year since that incident but he still wakes up sometimes in a cold sweat thinking just how close he came!!!!
Men have it bad also--
Now another friend of mine, again met a woman at the local bar (you think these guys would learn by now that a bar is not the place-but oh well). Now they had not exchanged pictures (they wanted that thrill you get when you see someone for the first time--big mistake-) that's like ripping all the labels off the can goods and playing surprise what's for dinner game-not me, well anyway they agreed to wear the same color shirt (who would have guessed that they would be wearing the same shirt that can be purchased at the local 24hr store in the men's department). In she walks or should say waddled, (not trying to be mean but when you said HWP, well then again I guess she was HWP-lol my mistake), he nearly fell off his bar stool, thank gawd for the waitress standing there, he was able to grab hold of her boobs to maintain his balance, his date waddles (I mean walks) over and introduces herself, positions herself on two (not one but two) bar stools and orders a beer. My friend is trying to be nice (he now knows why animals that are caught in a trap will chew their leg off), he smiles and tries to enter into a conversation about the weather when he notices that she has a better mustache then he does and her after 5 o'clock shadow is showing. Trying to finish his beer (actually he was gnawing at his arm to let go of beer) he excuses himself, heads to the bathroom where he climbs out a window the size of a shoebox, runs across the parking lot to collapse in his car, swearing off CL dates for the rest of his life!!!
I personally have not given up on dating but perhaps I should for a while especially since Friday night didn't go quite as well as I thought it should have, you see we agreed to meet in a parking lot of the local 24hr store (do you know how many black ford pick-ups there are--too f----many, I stopped at over 20 of them, was sure I was going to be arrested for solicitation-lol) finally we met, (he should have told me there was an 18ft camper attached to the back of his pick-up, would have been easier to find--you think?). I asked if he would like to go have coffee at the shop across the street, he replied no need when he whipped open his truck door and proceeded to pull out a cooler where he quickly opened it up, grabbed two beers (the kind of beer escapes me--I think it was a black and white can-generic) and tosses me one. I stood there in horror secretly wishing the police would show up and arrest me for soliciting (no such luck), within seconds I was offered a tour of his home on wheels, (which I declined-especially since I could hear strange moaning sounds coming from inside), he excused himself to enter the camper when that was my clue to jump and run, which I did, swearing under my breath that if I ever do this again I'm bringing my own cooler of beer!!!!
