This morning while I was making breakfast (for 1) I started to get the feel of being single. I haven't been single for long and I thought that I wouldn't be interested in a new relationship for a while but this morning I realized how wrong I was! I really do want a new relationship. My last relationship was almost 2 years long and we even lived together so there is still a little bit of pain in there so I will want to take it slow but I know that I would really like to have been making breakfast for 2 this morning and not just 1). Most nights after work I just like to come home, make dinner and watch a movie, so I guess I am not the most exciting person in the world but it feels just to me and I am looking for someone who will fit into that too! Okay, I've put ads on here and have never been dishonest but guess I have not been as blunt as I should be. I am fat. Call it BBW if you want. I don't have "a few extra pounds," no "love handles" I can't seem to get rid of, I'm fat. I am 250 lbs. I have begun exercising daily but just began that in the last 3 weeks or so. I assume it'll be a while before I begin seeing results from that. Aside from that; I have a reasonably attractive face, beautiful eyes from what I'm told (although I have a difficult time accepting compliments) and am on the shorter side, 5'4". So when I've posted on here in the past, I've had guys that describe themselves as having stepped off of a GQ cover shoot email and say they're interested. I didn't believe them then and I won't believe them with this ad. That is not what I'm trying to attract nor what I am attracted to. I'm not the ugliest or fattest thing you'll ever meet (or email, or talk to) but I am also nowhere near the prettiest or thinnest. I'm shy at first, I could use a bit of work in the self confidence department, I have a dry/sarcastic sense of humor, I'm typically a people-pleaser. I'm at a job that I'm happy enough with I can honestly say I plan on retiring from it about 25 or years from now. That's a few things about me. Oh, I also have one child; if you don't want a kid in the picture, move on. I'm attracted to larger men, taller than me is a plus. By larger, I mean larger. I don't mean 175 lbs. Looks don't matter; and I really mean looks don't matter.

Why I'll never succeed in the M4W section (okc)
I've been an avid reader, occasional poster and extremely rare responder of the Craigslist personals for awhile now, and I've noticed some common (and hilarious) threads of interest among the men in this area. I'd like to take a minute to break it down for you, ghetto style, so you can recognize the following horrific cliches and just maybe avoid getting flagged as spam.
"Must like the outdoors" - Barring a select few dweebs I've met that live in their parents' basement and mainline Mountain Dew so they can play World of Warcraft for 87 hours straight, most human beings like being outside at some point. Sure, I love to spend time outdoors. Give me some water, (pool, lake, river, pond), and I'm happy as a pig in slop. Does that mean I want to live in the woods for a month and wipe my butt with a pine cone? No thanks!
"Must love animals" - Great... You mean I have to pretend to like your fluffy mixed breed cat long enough to maybe earn some kisses? Or that huge mastiff that's physically capable of kicking me out of your bed?
"I like having fun" - Whew, what a relief! I'm meeting too many people these days that think having fun sucks. I'm a big fan of fun myself! We have so much in common
"I like going out, but also enjoy staying in for a quiet night at home" - That's great, because staying home or going out and doing something are pretty much the only two options you have.
"Are their any REAL women on here" - No, just fake ones.

I always wondered why do men seem to go for all the women except for the nice and sweet ones. I am nice, sweet, intelligent, funny, can be shy at times but can open up like a neverending story that can never get boring, I could not hurt a soul, and I do not cheat. I know there is a good man is out there to cherish me and myself to cherish him. I just need my other half to complete the journey of unbelievable bliss. I know it has to exist. I see it around me everyday. Is there an attack on good women? I have been in situations where a guy pretends to be honest, good, and handsome and everything and then boom he just wanted a good time if you know what I mean. I don't play in that territory. Well more about me.... I am 5'3, brown eyes, average body built with nice curves, black shoulder length hair and I am Africian American and attractive in more than one way. I like to read. I am also a college graduate. I like a variety of music from soft rock, country, r&b,pop, classical and some rap. I like shopping. My dream guy will have to have these things and the things that I have said above but he needs to have a job( nothing illegal), have his own place if not his own place, place with a roommate is fine, a car, no younger than 25 yrs old and no older than 35 yrs old (please!!), prefer non smoker but not picky as long as you dont do it in front of me as my exes were smokers and were nice about it, you can be a drinker but not an alcoholic where you drink more than 3 beers a day or start drinking from early morning until the start of the next day, education is a big plus, attractive- I have many things to say about this one I am not going by looks which is a plus but I say attraction is not limited to looks to me it various things could be the way your hair is, your smile, your personality and etc..., I am also interested in friends too, but I would like more but there is always that possibility of being friends first and then letting it grow into so much more hopefully long term. Well I guess that is all I am going to say because I have already said way too much so I need to save some for later. This whole online dating stuff sucks. (So here I am on CL! LOL!) I have made connections and we email and exchange phone numbers. However, it only goes as far as emailing and texting. What happened to the old fashion dating? Talking on the phone and going on a date? Where the girl isn't paying for herself. Meeting face to face and getting to know someone. It doesn't mean coming to my house in hopes that you will get lucky either. There is nothing wrong with taking things slow. Get to know one another and have fun.
