Hey!
I'm moving to Grand Junction next week. Exciting! So I was wondering: What is the queer community like? Are there any gay bars or other awesome places where queer people tend to congregate? I'm coming from Madison, WI, where there is a pretty strong LGBTQ community (we even have a gay hockey league! Seriously, how awesome is that?) I'm not expecting to find that kind of a presence in GJ, but I'm hoping it's a relatively safe place to be openly not-straight. What do you think?
