Ok. Where to begin.
I'm lonely. Extremely. Here's a little bit about me and how I got to be here...
I didn't know it was possible to be interested in girls until a few years ago. I was taught abstinence only education and married my high school 'sweetheart' at age nineteen after I became pregnant. Turns out, he wasn't being respectful of my wishes for abstinence all those years, he was just being gay. Never once did he want me, and marriage did not change that like I had been told and as I assumed.
Anyway. Before I discovered he was gay and that I was bi, we had two kids. He is no longer in the picture. At all.
I have realized now that even though I am attracted physically to men and women, I am only emotionally attracted to women; at least at this point in my life that's all I have the energy for.
I don't have a car. I walk or bike everywhere and I like it that way. I live with my mom while recovering from my divorce and finishing my degree. I am a gay single mom of 2. I know that won't appeal to a lot of you, but here's more about me:
I'm 5'7" and I weigh about 135lbs. Athletic-y. Some cute tattoos and piercings. I'm somewhere between femme and tom-boy. Somedays I LOVE a cute dress and lipstick, other days I'm in a polo and man jeans- luckily I'm cute in anything... I lived in CA for the last six years and will be moving back there in a few more. I'm extremely liberal/hippie (think:Berkeley lesbian, pixie cut, veg, don't shave my pits or legs) and I'm very interested in gardening, farming, sailing, homesteading, bicycling, hiking, camping, etc. I'm also a musician and have a few gigs under my belt at this point.
I suppose what I'm looking for is a friend or two. I want someone to just hang out with and have fun with and be happy and laugh with. I of course would love to have some great sex, but I just know from my own personality that I can't have good sex unless I'm 'in love' and the only way that happens for me is friends first. So I suppose you should love kids (though you wouldn't meet them for a while) and outdoor activities, intelligence, adventure etc. I'm attracted to femme or very soft butch or tom boy-lite, and you don't have to be ripped, but I value being fit and taking care of your body.
