Getting to know each other and wants to take it slow and not move in after a week or month, that isn't taking it slow. Also enjoys staying in, instead of going out to bars or clubs. I think communication and honesty are huge parts of a relationship and don't like to play games especially with peoples feelings. I have had that done to me many times but I don't work like that. I can be blunt, especially with people I truly love and care about. I'm not perfect and can sometimes put my foot in my mouth but all I try to be is a good person day in and day out. Been thru a lot in my 36 years and mainly just looking for a women who will treat me right as I would her, and give me space when I need it, as I would her and will except me for me and won't try to change me into the person she wants me to be, who will make me feel special as I would her who will make me feel wanted as I would her and loved. In a relationship what's most important to me is No Head Games, Communication, Trust, Honesty, Compassion, Understanding, Patience, and the willingness to work on things when it gets hard and not just throw your hands up and say I'm done when the honeymoon period of a relationship ends, to me that is when the true work begins. I'm the type of person who takes care of others and puts others needs a head of my own. In my spare time I enjoy reading Nicholas Sparks books and reading curve. When it comes to music I have very eclectic taste. When it comes to movies I enjoy watching comedies as well as romantic ones. I am the type of person when I love, I love with all of my heart, am loyal, Compassionate, Blunt, to the point of being too honest sometimes. Some of my favorite foods include Steamers, fried clams and chef salads. I Actually Like To Go DO Things!! (Cape Cod) 27yr
So.. A bit about me.. I'm headstrong and ambitious, I have my priorities set, but I'm going through a stage where I think I focused too hard on doing right and would like to just, live a little. I want to experience life. It must be amazing to feel the rush of doing something you're not supposed to be for an entire day! I know I should focus on my practical goals, but I don't want life to pass by at the same time, yeah?
I want to live life to the fullest, so when I grow old, I can listen to the everyone wears sunscreen song and feel good about myself. It'll be ok when my knees get weak as a grandmother because I would have already experienced everything, ideally. I'd really like to experience face to face NOW. I don't get the whole obsession with social networking.. the more time we spend online the less time we'll be able to read a person's real life expressions. It dehumanizes us!
I want to actually do activities, like go to a carnival, or go to a city, or a country side. I hate driving by scenic locations. It's kind of a waste. I don't like to just see scenic locations, I want to experience them, like by jumping across rocks in a river or by having philosophical convos while our voices echo like something out of lost in translation. Eating every cuisine in this world like that bizarre foods guy.
Here's the catch.. I'd definitely love to experience all this with a nice girl :) Ok maybe it's a bit much, especially for the first couple dates.. but you get the idea. I'm just not convinced that life isn't like the movies. It SHOULD be like the movies, right? You only live once, so people should act more like themselves than their socially acceptable selves.
